Pairing: Ryu Shi-Oh x Reader
Word Count: 1058 words
A/N: Sorry for the long hiatus, currently I'm obsessed with Ryu Shi-Oh, well Byeon Woo-Seok in general, so here's a lil one shot of his character. Also its been a minute, so I apologize if the writing seems rushed.
*********************************************************************
The loud sound of alarm wakes up Y/N, she groans waking up and turns off the alarm before turning beside her to see Shio sleeping peacefully. Oh how she loves seeing him asleep, he looks like a baby. She wishes she could protect him from all the stress he faces in his office, she knows how pure his heart was and how genuine his love was for her. She starts to wake him up gently by peppering light kisses all over Shio's face.
"Mhm... babe let me sleep," Shio mumbled sleepily.
"Wake up sunshine, you will be late for the office," she replied.
Reluctantly he opens his eyes and once he adjusts his eyes to sunlight he smiles at his lover. His dimples on display.
"Good morning," he smiles fondly at her.
"Good morning, lets have breakfast together," she suggests.
He looks at his phone that was on the bedside table and complains about how he is running late, "but we will have a dinner date tonight," he takes her hands and kisses sheepishly.
"Okay fine," she sighs, "but baby I'm worried about your health."
"I'm fine, I promise," he replies before going to shower.
She went downstairs and goes to the kitchen and makes herself a cup of coffee. She hears footsteps Shio's hurried footsteps after a while, while she was making a toast.
A smile tugged in her face as she felt Shio's arm snake around her waist. She turned around and felt his lips on her, a gentle yet passionate kiss was shared.
"I'm leaving, see you tonight darling," Shio smiled.
"Can't wait, I love you," she smiled.
"I love you more," he smiled and kissed her quickly before rushing towards the door.
-
Shio felt anger bubbling when he learned that one of the jackets were missing. His day was going awful and all he did since morning was yell at everyone. Everything is frustrating and he was on the verge of breaking down.
He also had to attend meetings and was trying to figure out what to do with the missing jacket situation. He will be working late by the looks of it, he sighed and continued working stressfully, completely forgetting to inform Y/N about rescheduling the dinner date.
-
Y/N kept waiting for Shio to call, she got all dolled up and since he was taking her out and didn't say where yet so she waited till Shio could pick her up.
Shio was supposed to be home by 7pm, it was nearing 9pm, she got worried and tried to call Shio multiple times but every call went straight to voicemail. At this point she wasn't even worried about missing date, she was extremely concerned about his whereabouts. She called Shio's manager and got to know Shio was staying late because of an urgent matter.
She understood his situation and felt bad for him. Her poor baby love was so stressed, she decided she wanted to go surprise him at the office by bringing him some food as well. She knows how much he overworks and how he tends to forget to eat when stressed.
She called an Uber and made a stop at his favorite chinese takeout place and got his favorite items, then she proceeded to go to his office. She checked the time, it was 10pm by the time she reached Doogo headquarters.
She was greeted by his assistant, the office was empty and dimly lit, and only his bodyguards and assistant were there. She went inside his office room, as soon as she entered she felt chills run down on her spine. Shio looked different, he looked paler than usual and as she got closer, she could see his veins- long and darker- she made eye contact with him. He had this fierce look and she saw his hands were in a fist.
"Don't come closer," he said lowly, the voice itself was something she never heard before.
He went outside taking long steps. She was horrified, she never saw him in this demeanor. She started to think what was happening, she couldn't figure out what made him act like this, and what was with those veins?
He came back after half an hour, while she was lost in her thoughts. She snapped back into reality and observed his movements, he quickly went to his office table and drank a blue liquid, he then turned his back away from her and it looked like he took a deep breathe before turning towards her.
She was seated in one of the sofas placed in the middle of the room, he quickly came towards her and knelt before her, she slightly flinched. Shio felt hurt... was she scared of him?
"What are you doing here, love?" Shio asked softly, "how did you get here?"
"I-i took an Uber, brought food for you," she replied.
"Uber?! Don't you know how dangerous it is to travel late at night?" he slightly raised his voice, he was always so overprotective of her.
She closed her eyes, slightly scared, considering his early behavior.
"Hey, hey, look at me, what's wrong babe?" he asked.
"Nothing, I'm sorry I came, I'll just go," she said starting to get up.
"Wait no," he stopped her from getting up.
"Why are you acting like this?" he gulped.
At this statement she got angry, she shoved him away before saying, "are you just gonna pretend now that you didn't act weirdly when I entered? What was that? Where did you go for 30 minutes and why was your veins popping?"
Shio sighed before trying to take her hands, "baby calm down, I can explain."
"You better explain," she huffed.
"Please can I explain later? I'm just too tired now, it was a long day," Shio begged.
"What are you hiding, Shio?"
"Please trust me, its better if you not know."
"What the hell is that supposed to mean?"
"I don't want to lose you, I cannot lose you," he sobbed.
"Shio, you're scaring me, what's going on?" she argued.
"Please just let it slide, I will tell you when I'm ready," he cried.
"You can tell me anything, you know that right?"
"I DON'T WANT YOU TO LEAVE ME, OKAY? THEY ALL DO, IF I TELL YOU YOU WILL JUST LEAVE!" He snapped.
"Wh-what?"
"I'm involved in mafia...."

The nerve of gang nam soon, the pampered kid with FOUR parents who would do anything in their power to provide for her, who has not ONCE in her existence felt an ounce of loneliness, who's trillionaire mother would rip the world inside out for her, who discovers capitalism and has the realisation that the world isn't cotton candy and bubbles but actually evil for the FIRST time when she's 22 yrs old; the nerve THE NERVE of that girl to chastise Ryu Sio, an orphan abandoned by the world, who was used and abused by the mafia, forced to murder people at 6 yrs of age, used like a puppet, torn between a war inside him, who not once in his life received the chance to be human.
Hwang geum ju is a filthy hypocrite with her "people can change if they're given a second chance", where was your magnanimous-forgiving-second-chance giving spirit when you were dealing with someone being forced by one of the most powerful mafias in the world to distribute drugs? As for Gang nam soon, I've never hated a main character as much as I hated her. How could you turn around after someone tells you they've been abused their entire life, trusted no one, and were forced to do terrible things to survive, and call them a bastard? Does nam soon not have an ounce of empathy in her hypocrite body? The parallels between Nam soon eating lunch in a villa with her two mothers and relatives who love her more than anything else in the world and the scenes where Sio sat alone in the place where his orphanage stood? And knowing that despite being abandoned by his parents which resulted in him being abused for years he understood that his biological parents were probably not in a position to provide for him and tracked them down and provided for them? And all this for the drama writers to just include a scene where the main characters on their romantic stroll to muse once about how different ryu Sio would have turned out if the world had shown him an OUNCE OF KINDNESS? Like you guys are seriously telling me that this thought did not occur ONCE in gang nam soon, daughter of philanthropist and believer of goodness of people Hwang geum ju, that this man opening up to you about his traumatic childhood and life and the fact that he does not want to die being controlled by an evil mafia could possibly be a better human if he recieved the chance? This drama could have explored a complex relationship between Sio and Nam soon, where she recognised that he was really a victim of society's evils, Hwang geum ju could have helped Sio escape the clutches of the mafia and they could have taken down this organisation together, but no instead the writers decided to make a drama chock full of loopholes, cringe dialogue, predictable and boring plot "twists", a painfully one dimensional male lead, and a forced romantic relationship between the main characters who had ZERO chemistry. From a kdrama fan who LOVED strong woman do bong soon and only and only started this drama because of bongbong and minmin's 5 minute cameo, I'm beyond disappointed. It ruined my year ending (almost)

Ryu Si-Oh/Kang Nam-Soon one-shot
Background: I'm working on a sort-of alternate universe series for Strong Girl Nam-Soon; where the main couple is Ryu Si-Oh and Kang Nam-Soon. For some reason, it's harder for me to start at the beginning and write chronologically so until I figure out how I want things to begin in this AU, I'll just post the cute/fluffy one-shots that pop into my head.
Prompt: Ryu Si-Oh takes Kang Nam-Soon on a date… but she doesn’t realize it’s a date of course.
Nam-Soon uneasily glanced around the dimly lit restaurant, fingering the lining of her well-worn skirt. The restaurant was spacious enough to seat several tables with room to spare, but the shadows, spacing, and building architecture still made it feel cozy somehow. Several windows were slightly opened to allow a gentle breeze that was cool but not chilly, and soft jazz music enveloped their table from all sides. She wasn’t dressed poorly, but certainly not fancy enough for a place like this. She’d tried to protest when the company car had pulled up to the entrance, already clocking how high class it was but Si-Oh insisted that what she wore was perfectly acceptable.
All this for a work dinner, she thought with exasperation. Si-Oh must really want that steak he mentioned on the way here. When she looked at the menu, she was simply overwhelmed by the options listed in gleaming gold font - and the prices.
She must have made a face because Si-Oh asked “Is something wrong?” The man had a way of pinning down exactly what she was feeling, and he seemed just a bit tense at her silence since they sat down.
She shook her head immediately in response, but also rolled her lips in a pensive expression. She decided to go with a half-truth. “There are so many options… I’m just not sure what I would like.”
So-Oh’s semi-concern melted away at that. “Ah, would you like me to make some recommendations?”
“Yes, if you wouldn’t mind.” She sighed in relief, handing the menu to him gratefully.
He scanned it briefly before asking a few exploratory questions - Did she like pasta? What was her favorite meat? Did she prefer soup or salad? Umami or spicy flavor profiles? Once she had answered all food-related inquiries, he made a few suggestions for an appetizer, entree, sides, and desserts, to which she readily agreed.
Once the waiter - who had seemingly materialized out of nowhere - had taken their order and left them to have some privacy, Si-Oh leaned in and fixed his unwavering gaze on her.
She found it slightly more difficult to swallow.
“Tell me about yourself. How are you…” he paused heavily. “… the way that you are?”
Nam-Soon heaved a sigh and leaned her elbow on the table, resting her chin on the open palm of her hand.
“I wish I had an interesting story to tell you, truly. Maybe something with radioactive spiders or laboratory experiments-“ Si-Oh’s shoulders twitched at that; Nam-Soon didn’t notice. ”-but I’m just me. I’ve always been like this, at least as far back as I can remember. Which is around 6 years old. That’s when my parents found me.”
“Found you?” Si-Oh asking curiously.
“Mm.” She nodded. Nam-soon stared at him for a bit longer and Si-Oh waited, obviously expecting her to continue. She still didn’t really know how to talk about this with people she didn’t know well just yet. But she found it easier to just rip the band-aid off and put it out there. “I was found wandering in the Mongolian plains when I was 6 years old, by my mom and dad. They didn’t know who I was or where I came from, and they didn’t speak Korean so it was … a while before we were able to really communicate.”
Si-Oh was listening intently, thoughtfully absorbing everything she said. It struck him viscerally how frightening that must have been and how truly awful it could have ended for her. After all, he knew better than most what kind of people could benefit from coming across an unchaperoned child.
“Your … mom and dad”, he said haltingly, wanting to mirror the language Nam-Soon used to talk about the parents she so obviously adored. “Did they go to the police? Or any state officials?”
“Oh yes,” Nam-Soon rushed to explain on her parents' behalf. “It was more than a day's ride between where they found me and anyone who may have access to information on missing children but my dad made the trip as soon as I was settled. He stayed in town for three days talking to the police and anyone else he could get a hold of, but there was nothing. There was no report, nobody looking for their missing daughter, no one new in the area, nothing. On the fourth day, he gave the police pictures of me and his contact information and came home. They didn’t hear from anyone for weeks, and after making several calls and sending messages that went unanswered for months, they eventually stopped trying. And I can’t blame them for that, really.” She smiled warmly, cheeks flushing a pretty pink, and Si-Oh felt a frisson of electricity streak up his spine at the tender look that crossed her face. “Perhaps I would feel differently if they treated me poorly or if I felt like I was missing out, but I didn’t - I was happy. They treated me as their own and after a while, well, honestly I was theirs. And they were mine.”
Nam-Soon pictured her mom and dad's faces, warmed by the sun, wrinkled with age and laughter. “When I got old enough to get curious about it, they asked me if I wanted them to go looking again. But I said no.” Si-Oh was surprised at that and said as much.
Nam-Soon shrugged her shoulders in response. “I won’t lie and say I didn’t think about it at all, but I was content with the way my life was. I had loving parents, a close community, and good friends. I was afraid that if I did find something, then it would change everything; I would be completely uprooted from my home. And if I found nothing, I might be terribly disappointed that no one had been looking for me, that I hadn’t been missed for nearly an entire decade. So I chose not to. And I haven’t regretted it since.” Nam-Soon declared brightly, nodding in satisfaction with her own logic. "After all, you can't change what's happened in the past. You can only move forward, with purpose."
Si-Oh should have been frustrated at this information; should have been annoyed that the secret to her strength couldn’t be sniffed out easily, but instead, he found himself wanting to know more about her, about her life and her thoughts.
“How was it, then, growing up in Mongolia?” Nam-Soon glowed with pride as she began to talk of her hometown and the people there. And Si-Oh, who had intended to use this dinner as an opportunity to gain more insight into her abilities … was utterly captivated by stories of her childhood.
He barely noticed when the server arrived at their table with their food.
Once their server had once again departed, Nam-Soon took the opportunity to give as good as she got.
“I feel like I’ve been talking about myself the whole time, why don’t you tell me about yourself?”
Si-Oh picked up his silverware and began to cut into his steak as he tried to think of an answer that would both satisfy her curiosity and not be an outright lie.
“There’s not much to know about me-“, he began. Nam-Soon’s eyebrows jumped up in incredulity. “I had a normal childhood. I knew from the time I was young that I would go into business, and so every decision I made was to serve that purpose.” He took a bite of bloody steak before glancing at Nam-Soon and paused as he saw her facial expression.
She was staring at him with a tiny wrinkle forming between her brows. Her hands were still at either side of her plate, utensils at the ready.
“That’s … all?” Her voice was soft and low. He enjoyed the sound of it.
He gave a small chuckle before asking, “What else is there?” An emotion he couldn’t label streaked across her face, and she looked down quickly to work at cutting her fish fillet. She took a bite and seemed to be mulling something over as she chewed. When she had finished she looked into his eyes and asked, “Do you do anything outside of work? Have any hobbies?”
He didn't have to think to answer this one. "I work out a lot; I attend many classes that cover several fighting styles, from boxing to Taekwondo. If I'm not working on company business, I'm probably fighting. And if I'm not fighting," his voice deepened as a subtle twist of his mouth, barely noticeable, betrayed a sneer of contempt. "I'm probably asleep ... or dead." In that moment, his expression was as cold and cutting as a bitter winter wind. Nam-Soon was completely taken aback by the barely concealed resentment that seemed to ooze off him like a miasma.
As she had done many times in her life, Nam-Soon spoke before she could think not to.
"That sounds ... really unfulfilling." She wished she could snatch the words back as soon as they tripped from her tongue, but it was too late to backtrack, so she held his gaze and waited for his response.
His reaction was ... surprising, to say the least. The laughter that catapulted from the back of his throat was loud enough to startle the people at two tables near them, as Si-Oh shook his head in confoundment. Nam-Soon bit her lip in consternation.
As his laughter quieted, he reached for his wine, taking a sip of the maroon liquid before locking his dark gaze with hers once again.
"You're honest to a fault, Kang Nam-Soon. I like that about you. I've been around too many liars for far too long." His words were light and unbothered, but she swore she could lighting crackling through the iris of his eyes.
"I don't mean to be insulting," she said sheepishly. "Sometimes I just speak before I can filter. Gets me into trouble sometimes."
Si-Oh shook his head, waving off her unspoken apology. "I'd rather someone be honest and insulting, than dishonest and flattering. Fake compliments, fake smiles, empty promises ... they can be found everywhere in this industry. It's how you do business and learn the trade, climbing off the backs of others that put you there. Eventually, you get so far removed from the people you struggled with at the bottom that you forget the mask you created is for your own protection, as much as theirs. Anyone can tell an easy lie with a smile. It takes real integrity," he lifted his wine glass towards Nam-Soon, tipping it in her direction as some would a toast, "to tell an uncomfortable truth with a straight face."
Nam-Soon felt oddly warmed by his praise and ducked her head in shyness, tucking her hair behind her ear. Another thought occurred to her and she glanced up at Si-Oh, not surprised to find his eyes still trained on her with laser-pointed focus. She was beginning to recognize how the weight of his gaze felt when he was watching her, without seeing him do so. He made her feel examined, and pinned into place, like a butterfly on display in a glass case.
She leaned in closer, emulating the same posture he presented when he wished to convey sincerity.
"When you speak ... it sounds as if you have a feeling of disdain towards the work that you do. So, why do it?"
His head cocked to the side. "Do you only do things that you enjoy? That bring you happiness?"
She smiled and huffed a breath in humor, "No, of course not. I'd lead a pretty privileged life if I only did the things I thought sounded fun. But generally, I do try to avoid things that I think will make me miserable in the long run. I try to make decisions that will put me in a comfortable position. And with the way you talk ..." She trailed off, not wanting to be more blunt than she already had been.
But Si-Oh took it all in stride. He leaned his body backward into his chair, nodding his head in a contemplative manner before leveling her with a frank expression of discernment. "And you don't think that's a privileged position? To be comfortable?"
Her first instinct was to push back against that assertion, to argue that being comfortable was a natural state of being. But the words wouldn't come out, and the longer she thought on it, the more she realized he was right. Some people had no choice but to be uncomfortable, usually by circumstances beyond their own control.
Si-Oh watched the emotions play across her face like an open book. And felt stimulated in a way he hadn't experienced in years.
Eventually, she nodded in his direction, saying only "I concede your point", in response to his question.
Her surrender thrilled him, satisfaction blanketing his body like a warm shawl. So clever. So honest. She was even more mesmerizing to him now than when he had first seen her at the warehouse, leaping into action like an angel of heaven.
The ravenous beast inside him growled in hunger. Miserable bastard that he was, he wanted her. And he would find a way to have her.

Secrets (Part 2)
Part One
Word Count: 872 words
Pairing: Ryu Shio x Reader
************************************************************************
"I'm involved in mafia..."
Y/N was completely speechless, she did not see this coming. Shio was still holding her hand while kneeling on the floor beside the sofa she sat on.
"What?" she whispered.
She quickly removed her hand from his grip, Shio felt hurt.
"You have to understand I did not choose this, I was rather forced to join this field just to... survive," Shio said and hung down his head, as if he's ashamed.
Y/N did not say anything, she was just trying to process everything Shio was saying.
"Tell me," Y/N spoke after a while, "everything about you, I don't want anymore surprises," she said bitterly.
The dim light in Shio's office cast long shadows on the walls, creating an atmosphere of tension as Y/N confronted him about his involvement with the mafia. Shio's usual confident demeanor falters as he uncomfortably sat in the sofa beside her.
"It all started when I was a kid. The Russians took me in, and I was trained against my will. I never wanted any of this, Y/N. They brainwashed me." Shio started hesitantly.
He continued telling everything sparing no details about all his past traumas and up until the drug that he invented for Pavel.
Y/N's eyes widened as she processed the revelation. The weight of the truth hung heavily in the air.
Y/N sighed, "How could you hide this from me? We were supposed to be a team."
"They're dangerous people Y/N, I didn't want you to get involved in this mess. I was trying to protect you," Shio replied desperately.
Y/N stood up, her emotions swirling. Without saying a word, she walked out of the office, leaving Shio alone in the darkness.
Shio glanced at the clock; it was late, and concern etched his face. He started running after her and pleaded her to wait.
Y/N took a shaky breathe and looked behind him, the tall man approached her and said, "Y/N, it's late. Let me take you home."
Seeing her hesitation, Shio gently said, "I promise I won't push you, but it's not safe for you to be out alone right now."
Reluctantly, Y/N nodded, appreciating Shio's protective instincts. The car ride home was silent, but the quiet reassurance of Shio's presence began to ease the turmoil in her mind.
-
Shio began driving, the silence between them was thick. Y/N stared out of the window, processing all the newfound knowledge she found tonight.
"Y/N, I understand if you can't forgive me," Shio said sadly.
"Not now, Shio. I need time to process all of this."
Shio nodded understandingly, he longed to touch her hand. It always brought him comfort. He was scared that he won't be able to do it again if she breaks up with him.
When they reached their shared home, the atmosphere was heavy with unspoken words. Y/N headed to the guest room without looking at Shio. He stood in the hallway, aching for her presence.
Shio felt like his world was crashing down. As soon as he reached their shared room upstairs, Shio closed the door and collapsed while sobbing. He wanted to this pain in his heart to stop, it was too much to handle, the grief was consuming him.
The same thing was happening to Y/N just downstairs in the cold guest room. Both of them longed to be in each others arms.
Both of them could not sleep.
-
The morning light spilled through the windows, signaling a new day. Shio found Y/N in the kitchen, her back turned to him. He approached cautiously, unsure of how she would react.
"Hi bab-, Y/N," he cleared his throat.
Y/N rushed forward, wrapping her arms around him. The warmth of her hug cut through the cold tension that had settled between them.
Shio stumbled back from the sudden hug but quickly hugged her back tightly.
They both began sobbing, scared to lose each other.
"I need time, Shio. But I don't want you to leave." Y/N spoke through her sobs.
"I understand baby, I'll give you all the space that you need."
Their lips met in a lingering kiss, a silent promise of healing and understanding.
"Shio, can you leave that world for me?" Y/N asked hesitantly.
"Yes," he replied in a heartbeat, "God, yes, I can't ever lose you, I am ready to leave that."
"You have to, you can change, I know you, and you said you were forced, but baby you can start fresh, you can leave the dark world and start an honest and clean one," Y/N spoke gently.
Shio teared up, he finally felt a sense of relief, he nodded tearfully.
Y/N said, "I'll be beside you when you start again, I will be with you from the ground up."
"It will take time but I promise starting from now I will slowly yet urgently cut ties, just be patient baby, I promise to leave that darkness."
Y/N smiled at him before kissing him again. As they held each other, they knew the journey ahead would be challenging, but the love that bound them was resilient.

fic ideas food for thought:
ryu si-oh setting a trap for gang namsoon, and being unable to hurt her when it comes down to it, because he realizes: he doesn't hate her for betraying him, he's in pain because she left
namsoon stopping ryu si-oh from going after hee-sik, and he must stop because it's her asking, but also realizing she loves someone else
lmao, but – him realizing namsoon's roomate IS in fact, a guy
namsoon attacking him just after he's pulled away from the mafia and decided to go into hiding, only to then lose her powers?
just 22k words of dialogue: namsoon & ryu si-o communicating
#after whatever episode 14 was#inspiration cause we're going to need fix-it fics after tomorrow#i WILL keep adding to this list#or i'll have to hibernate#strong girl nam soon#ryu si oh#gang namsoon#byeon woo seok#lee yoo mi#kdrama

Y'all the Instagram kdrama fans are so insane and so are some of you on here cuz like wdym Namsoon is worse than Ryu Si-o. I GET IT YALL LOVE A HOT VILLAIN YOU THINK HE HAD A SAD PAST YOU THINK HE SHOULDVE BEEN WITH NAM SOON. But be so fr. He's hurt her brother, her mother, her friends and lots of people both directly or indirectly. Innocent people. He does this with pleasure. Why would she like him no matter how well he treats her? That's literally everything she goes against as a person. What do you mean Namsoon now deserves to die or lose cuz she's a bad person😭😭😭. She knew he was bad and that he needed to be stopped. That's all there is to it. The actor plays this character well if he's likable to you but yall have zero character analysis skills or anything beyond a one dimensional surface level understanding of what a person should be if your justification for the big bad guy to win is "He's hot and he had genuine feelings for her." How will a tumblr person ever eat the rich and powerful when the tumblr person folds the second the rich and powerful are attractive😭😭😭. Keep your "I can fix him" a little more wrapped up babe cuz some of you are a little too serious about it.
Don't even get me started on how yall treat the actor playing the male lead. You don't have to like him, or the main couple but Jesus the way some of you treat him😭😭😭. Also like "Ryu Si-O should date Namsoon instead of Gang Hee-Sik" LET THE GIRLY DECIDE HER TYPE THAT BOY WITH THE SOFT SMILE AND ACTUALLY GOOD HEART IS HER TYPE.

Its interesting how similar Nam-soon and Shi-oh are. The more we find out about his past its like the dark version of Nam-soon's childhood. Children lost to their families, raised in a foreign country under another name, participating in fights as children, etc. And it left both of them with the same ideas (change the world, find love) but using different methods.
Oh my god, this is such an interesting take and I agree anon! It clearly goes to show that the atmosphere that people grow up in, the trauma they face etc, clearly affects the person they grow to be.
In Si-Ohs case he was literally hardened by the mafia, he doesn't know anything else. Kindness is something he never had, so he lives the way he knows how. He wants to break free from the hold they have on him sure, but the only way he sees is gaining more power over them. Which is also probably why he finds himself attached to Nam Soon. Since she doesnt carry that much darkness, and her inherent nature seems kind.
Nam Soon on the other hand, might have lost her parents but she had another set of parents who treated her with love. Weirdly though she is supposed to be empathic, I dont see that in her interactions with Si-Oh mostly. Those seem a little one dimensional. Like yes this is the guy who is causing problems in your family which is not cool, but even when he is opening up to her there doesn't seem to be a lot of understanding?? If you get what I mean?
Sorry I went off on a tangent xD
